2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 pkg. (14 oz.) McCormick® Grill Mates® Brown Sugar Bourbon Smoked Sausage, cubed
2 teaspoons McCormick® Poultry Seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Thyme Leaves
1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
10 cups coarsely crumbled corn bread or corn bread stuffing cubes*
1 cups chicken stock or broth
1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add celery, onion, bell pepper and sausage; cook and stir 5 to 6 minutes or until vegetables are softened. Stir in poultry seasoning, thyme and garlic powder.
2. MIX corn bread cubes and the sausage mixture in large bowl. Add broth; toss gently until well mixed. Spoon into lightly greased 13×9-inch baking dish.
3. BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
Makes 12 (1-cup) servings.
*May need to add additional stock if using cornbread stuffing cubes.
